We want to first thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about us. As parents ourselves, we cannot even begin to imagine how difficult this must be for you. We do, however, have a unique perspective of the other side of adoption. Eric was adopted at birth and is so grateful to have been brought into his adoptive family. Because of his adoption experience, he has always wanted to do the same. We feel like his life experience can really benefit a child when it comes to understanding and dealing with questions and feelings that come up as she develops, grows, and learns about her family’s story. As an adult, Eric was able to meet his biological mom and 6 younger siblings and he maintains relationships with them all. Eric's biological grandparents live just a few miles away and we spend quite a lot of time with these wonderful people. Our family grew by leaps and bounds in an instant and we feel so blessed to have found them.
It has been our dream for many years to have a little girl and we are hoping to fulfill this dream through adoption. We have so much love to give and want to share our life. Thank you for considering us in your search to find the right family for you!
Eric is a registered nurse and works in the operating room. He finds his job so rewarding and loves to help people, which makes him a favorite among his patients. Eric has begun going on volunteer mission trips. Last year he went to the Marshall Islands to help on orthopedic surgeries and this year was able to go to Palau. He found it to be a humbling experience and plans to go back as much as he can to help those in need. He is a very caring individual and a great role model. Eric loves to ride motorcycles, specifically trials bikes. He loves the challenge of the obstacles these offer and rides with a great group of people. He is a regular jack of all trades around the house and Brandi is convinced there is nothing he can't do! He's done an amazing job remodeling their home. Eric also enjoys the great outdoors , hiking, fishing, snorkeling, he is a nature lover and always up for an adventure.
Brandi works part-time as a real estate assistant. She even has the ability to work from home a lot of the time, which gives her the flexibility to always be there for their children. She is funny and outgoing and loves being a mom more than anything. She loves to bake delicious cupcakes and other treats for family and friends and because of this, every birthday, wedding, and other event that requires baked goods has become her responsibility. Brandi shares a love of the outdoors with Eric and loves to go along on his adventures. Brandi and Eric have both volunteered at the schools over the years, chaperoning field trips, helping out at special events, and Eric was the head golf coach for a while at the local academy our older boys attended.
We love spending time together as a family, whether it be going to the mountains to camp or hike, going to the river to go fishing, we just have fun spending time together. We have a special place in our heart for animals too, so there are some very spoiled dogs and cats in our large 4 bedroom house, as well as a bunny.
We have 4 amazing boys, who we are so incredibly proud of. The 3 oldest boys, Kenaula, Keoki, and Cole are grown and on their own now. They are such kind hearted, fun, and loving young men. They all live close by, so we see them quite often during the week, but we make a point to get together often to have a big family dinner where everyone can catch up.
Kenaula has a degree in Automotive Technology and Keoki worked as a machinist for the last 3-1/2 years, but recently joined his brother working at an excavation and construction company. Kenaula and Keoki are twins, so multiples don't scare us! Cole is a fireman and just recently graduated with a degree in Fire Science, and is now working towards becoming a paramedic. Our youngest, Chance, is 13 and he can’t wait to be a big brother. He is so kind and patient with all the little ones we have around us. Each of our boys are so different, but one thing that remains the same in all of them is they have huge tender hearts and it is easy to see why everyone that knows them, loves them!
We have quite an extended family who are so very excited to have a new little one joining us. Besides having a mom and dad and 4 big brothers to shower her with love and attention, our child will know love from great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and a whole bunch of cousins which include 2 little nieces who are both a year old, so playmates will always be close by.
